I hope you are enjoying the January wind-up...looking forward to valentines and shamrocks on the horizon! (YAY! I hate January!!)

I got the urge to see my little baby girls, and went on my daughter's facebook page to steal a peek.
Look what I found!

These three shots show the little strip work skirts I made for my little babies for Christmas! I mentioned them in a recent post.

The one on the left (Lola's) is a little sneak peek of the new "Lola's Posies" fabric line that will be coming out in the spring.
(where'd that name come from???)
It's made of little strips from the strike-offs I got recently. You can't see too much, but that's OK since it's yet to be revealed!

The one on the right that Halle has on is mostly made of "Isabella" prints, as well as some "Spirit" and some "Eden" mixed in. It's nice when you can do that with different collections, isn't it?

And just look at adorable little Lola being cute and coy!

I can't stand it!!!

Remember when I had that "guess the designer"contest?? Here's a picture of Halle wearing her little patchwork top as a little summer dress! (Even though it's not quite summer:)
So sweet!!

Sugar and Spice and Everything nice...
This shows little Lola wearing an adorable outfit that Chelsea made as a sample for quilt market in some great Amy Butler fabric. Isn't that precious??

Hey...where did Halle go??? And why am I stuck here?

OK, well...I guess I won't put you through any more of my Grammy-Brag picture-a-thon. You have been so patient if you have stuck with me all the way here to the end!!! You deserve something special for that!

IS IT GIVEAWAY TIME AGAIN???

I should say!!!
Check back tomorrow when I tell you what the prizes are! (But you must comment!)

Bye-bye,
Lila

Frills and ruffles and gathers... oh my!!! Whilst I love my little boys dearly, there certainly is something special about little girls. My daughter would love that patchwork top and the ruffle pants LOL

I just love the fabrics, and skirts, and most of all those beautiful little girls. I wish mine were still little enough to sew things like that for.

We love you and all the wonderful things you make for us!! The headband on Lola is made by my wonderful friend Ashley, she has a blog littlemissmomma.blogspot.com you should link on there somewhere. She does a tutorial on how to make the headband. Love you Mom! We miss you!
Today Halle was asking me about getting married and who she was gonna marry. I said you will get to choose who you marry and you can pick someone you love. She sat and thought for a minute and said , " I wanna marry Grandmama and Pappy." Melted my heart!!

Oohhhhhh -gotta love grandbabies, and yours are simply adorable.
And a new fabric line? In Spring? Can I order already? Considering that it takes 3 1/2 months for the bolts to reach Germany :o)...yep....still waiting!

My name is Dolores and the nickname for Dolores is Lola. As a child, I was teased with the name Lola (isn't every kid teased for their name?)and so I went by Dolores (still was teased)but my family still called me Lola. In the 80's I guess it was too different of a name. As I got older, I've realized that I love my name and nickname. I have recently found many little cuties in the blog world that are named Lola. It makes me happy that it is making a small comeback. Your granddaughers are adorable! Thanks for sharing. Love the pics of the skirts. Your embellishments are amazing! It really adds to the skirts. Don't ever worry about Grammy-blogging. We love it and your creations are inspiration for us to create. Thanks.

It is so great to be able to dress little girls. If win your drawing, some of Isabella may find it's way into baby outfits. We added one grandniece on Dec 9 and the second newborn baby late on Jan 20 (still at hospital). Yes, I remember the name the designers contest way back.

This is the kind of skirts that I mentioned in my first Comment, if I was to be a winner of your fabulous fabric collection. As well as your Bohemian Bag, which is darling.

Love Love Love your line. I went and made the bag showcases in my quilting mag. And then I had to make one for everyone for xmas. We are using them for lunch bags, and our pedicure bags. Everyone just loved them.
