"Stay Put Socks"...check this out!

Hello friends...tonight I am featuring a new product that is out on the market recently, designed, created and produced by a good friend of mine, Kate Brotherson. Kate is a cute little southern belle from Alabama, and is a busy, wonderful mother of three young children.
If you, or someone you know has little ones, you will appreciate what I am going to share with you in this video.
As a mother, I can't tell you how many socks my kids have lost. I'm sure they number in the thousands. We have a joke at my house that there is a black hole somewhere where all of the missing socks and pacifiers have gone. If I had a dollar for every sock my kids have lost, I would be living on an exotic island somewhere, drinking a pina colada and getting a tan.
ANYWAY... I just wanted to share Kate's idea with you. It's a cheap little remedy for the lost sock woes...and I wish I had known about it when my kids were babies. Think how much money I would have saved on socks! Now I am going to make sure that all of my grand kids have Stay Put Socks on their sweet little feetsies.

Here's Kate: stay put socks

Just had to tell you that I LOVE your new line. It's beautiful and the colors are great. I'm excited to get my hands on some of it!

I like the stay put sock idea - but I would worry about choking. She doesn't mention whether the baby could get them off by themself. And for kids up to 2 years old - they would be curious and definitely strong enough to take them off.

I'm not sure I'm sold on these.

She is a genius!

I wish I had a baby to put them on, but I will definitely be buying them for baby shower gifts :)

I have to agree with Heidi. The very FIRST thing I thought about was choking hazard. You usually dont know what your baby is capable of, until they do it. I'll bet a baby could pull it off before they are two....and you know where everything goes.

I am the owner of Stay Put Socks and want to put you at ease about the choking concern.... The rules for baby products are very rigid. We had to have the product tested by many scientist to make sure this product is safe for babies. I want to assure you that choking is not a concern. It is nearly impossible actually. If you have seen the product you would understand but for those of you who haven't I will explain.
This silicon ring does not lose its shape unless it is squeezed between two fingers. In order for a baby to get this down his/her tiny throat he would have to pick the small ring up with his thumb and pointer finger at the same time. Then oh so carefully and without letting go, bring the pinched ring to his mouth without letting go (this is almost impossible for a baby because their motor skills don't allow them to do this). But, let's just say by some miracle they do get it to their mouth...At that point they would have to shove it in their mouth without letting go and down the opening of their throat all the while keeping that thumb and pointer finger squeezing the ring without letting go. Again, nearly impossible according to scientist. If at any point in time the baby let go or the ring slipped out, it would go to its original form again which is a circle. And if the ring was in their mouth the circumference would not allow it to go down the baby's tiny throat. I want you all to know that I have covered every angle of this being a safe product. I am a mom of three small children and I want them to be safe just as I want yours to be safe. Not to mention the legal issues there would be if this was a choking hazard. It would be dumb for me to even sell it if that were the case because I could lose everything my family has worked so hard for.
I appreciate your concerns, they are valid if you do not understand this product or have not seen it. But, I can assure you as can those who test baby products that this is safe for your baby. I am so happy to have found a solution to keeping babies socks on their feet. Come see us at the University Mall in Orem, UT if you want to touch and feel a Stay Put Socks and even try to "choke" on it. Thank you!!

What a great idea!! Note to the owner though: your nurse or whatever she is is incorrect about the temp of amniotic fluid. It's NOT 104 or even 100.4 . Its not quite degree higher than body temp or 99.5-99.7 degrees.

The owner of this product is totally LDS... that's not a bad thing (I'm with you sister). It's just obvious because she's so darn cute. This is a great product and thanks for explaining the chocking thing.
