Mushroom Pincushions are here!

I promised that I would get a free download for you for the mushrooms...I had to get the pattern finalized, and writing up the instructions and drawing the illustrations always takes longer than I anticipate. That's mostly because I am first and foremost a mother of several, and life is very full!

Anyway, here it is! You can click on the link to the right (scroll down past the list of shops) to print out your own copy. This pattern will be free here on my blog for a limited time, so don't delay!

One note...if you downloaded the pattern yesterday (January 12), or earlier today (January 13), you might want to do it again. I made some changes to the pattern pieces, and I think you'll like how these turn out a little better. Sorry for the inconvenience! It's been a work in progress:)

MAJOR OOOPS: I forgot to put the pins in!

Hello Lila,
Your mushrooms are really cute!!
It is very nice of you to share the pattern!! Especially as I know how long it takes to write the explanations when creating a sewing project!

Love your site! Love the colors! I can't wait to make a couple of mushrooms. Thanks so much for the pattern.(I had trouble with page 3, steps 8-11 printing...is it hiding somewhere?)

Hey Sally, I printed it off without any trouble. I'm not sure why that happened. Maybe try it again?

Lila! these are adorable. I can't wait to make some, although for some reason I always have a hard time with pin cushions. But I love them so, so I keep trying. haha. btw I "accidentally" picked up some of your fabric at my local store. I didn't realize it was you until I got home and started cutting into it. It's FAB!! I'm going to have to go back for more. I had just gotten a "taste" of it for something small. love, love, love it! Thanks lady! :)

You have such fantastic fabric ranges, and after reading your profile, I cannot believe you fit it all in!! I have two small children and balancing life can be tricky at times just with them!
I have bought your Soiree fabric range in a jelly roll, and every time I look at the quilt, it uplifts me. Spring in a nutshell :)

Where on earth can I find those adorable pearlized leaf pins? I've seen them in pictures a few places. With such lively (and lovely) pincushions as these, one requires a pin of equal zest!

Hello Lila,
Thank you for your generosity in allowing to download your mushroom pattern. I am very interested in two of your bag patterns, the Snazzy Bag and the Bohemian Bag. I would like if possible to purchase both of them together, since they don't have both of them in your Etsy shop I was hoping you could help and let me know how to get them both in one purchase.
Thank you and warm hugs,
Ruthie

Hi Lila, I saw your link on Moda's website. I am a textile/surface designer by degree but have been out of the business and missing it greatly! I've been praying that God would direct me and show me how to some way use my talents. I stumbled onto Moda's site today and fell in love. But I need help! Did you send samples? Done in repeat? Everything I do is by hand and I have no clue as to photoshop and illustrator. I'm feeling blue and you seemed like a nice person who might be able to help me. Thanks in advance. Jeanne
