And the Winners Are...

Well, it was really hard, just like I knew it would be! There were so many color combos I loved, and honestly I may have to reserve some for the future, because they were really wonderful. I had to take into consideration factors such as what I know my company will go for: Not too bright, not too modern, as well as other factors.

But after much deliberation, I chose two great colorways. The author of the first one gets the skirt mentioned before, and the second gets a collection of notecards I have made using my designs. I will try to use both colorways in the next collection...but it will take some convincing on my part, as Moda likes to use "crossover" colorways, which may or may not apply here.

All that aside, I hope the winners will recognize their names, and send me an email so I can get their addresses!

To all of you who entered but didn't win, please accept my sincere appreciation to you for your efforts and for your insights! I really enjoyed hearing and seeing your ideas! (All of them!)
You are wonderful!!!

UPDATE: Apparently I got the names switched on the colorway winners, so actually Srinity did colorway #1 and Stephanie did colorway #2! Just like me to do something like that...haha. Sorry girls!
Hey, Stephanie! shoot me an email OK? I need to hear form you!

Colorway Contest Has Officially Ended

Thanks to all of you who entered the colorway contest! I have not yet chosen the winner! That is my job for the soon as I choose the winner I will put up a post so all of you can see the colors that won. This is going to be REALLY hard! You all did such a good job choosing, and I had such fun looking at them as they came along!

Remember the winner receives the Athena skirt made from my Santorini collection, not yet available in stores!

Colorway Contest is still on...scroll down for more info

Hey...I just had to add this photo so you could see my cute kids (minus one), and my little Halle with black beans on her face! (She is such a good little eater!)
My daughter Brittney and her cute daughter Halle Rose were here for a week, and we had such a good time! From left to right: Brittney, natalie, Trent, Abby, Troy, Paige, and Halle in the center.

This is my 18 year old Paige and Halle with their "horns"...just a silly thing my kids have done forever... passing the tradition on to Halle now.

Here's Brittney, Halle, Abby (11) and Troy (6), being themselves... just a candid shot.

Also, I don't think you've seen our new addition to the family, Maggie the Bernese Mountain Dog! She is just a puppy, and she is so cute! She chews on EVERYTHING, and is keeping us all so entertained.
I took these when my camera was set on black and white...they don't show her markings very well, but you can get the main idea.

I just got this color shot...she doesn't hold still for pictures very well!
She's going to get HUGE, BTW, which is scaring me just a bit...but we'll take it as it comes!

So that's about it from my house!
Don't forget to comment on the contest below...that's still on! I'm loving all of the beautiful color combinations you are coming up with!

Have a great rest of the week!

Time for a Contest! I've been on break for a few daughter Brittney and her baby Halle have been here visiting, and I have been seriously distracted! But I am ready now for a giveaway.

I have an item from my stash that I am willing to part with, if you can help me come up with a new idea for a colorway for my next fabric line. I have to get busy designing now, and I am seriously stumped! Keep in mind this is a fall collection. I need at least four main colors to work with. If you can give me an example by referring me to a picture on a website, that might help even more.

Here is what I will give away to the winner:Not the little dress, although that may be in another contest...but the long skirt Stella has on.

This skirt is the "Athena" Skirt from one of my new patterns. It is made in "Santorini", size 6, to fit a 38" hip measurement (fullest part), and is about 36" long.

Make sure to leave your email adress, and a link on your blog (if you have one) to my blog.
I will choose the colorway that excites me the most, and fits my design concept the best! You never could be yours!
