I just wanted you to meet a new friend of mine. She's not like anyone else you know. I think it's safe to say you have never met anyone as quiet, and as composed as this new friend of mine. She's kept a low profile, so far, but is soon to have a "coming out of the closet"...of sorts. She needs to be introduced to the world. Her view of life has been limited to my little studio, as I scurry in and out, making one mess after another. She knows nothing of the REAL world. But, I've decided it's time to introduce her to BLOGWORLD. One step at a time.
Please meet my new friend _______!

(That's a nice padded booty!)
See, she doesn't even have a name. Poor thing. I did call her a few choice names during her construction that I wouldn't want to repeat , but I like her better now. She's actually going to Quilt Market with me, to model some of my new patterns in my booth.
...But I really need some help coming up with her name. I'm drawing a blank. I'm so stumped.
If I choose your name, I'll give you a little surprise! (Leave me with your email please)
Be creative, now, come on!
Update:Hey... great names Blogworld inhabitants!
I am enjoying this so much! I still haven't chosen my fave yet, but I'm loving all of your creative ideas!
Just a thought...Wouldn't it be funny if I bought her a plane ticket and had her sit beside me on the plane ride to market. What if I sat there and had a conversation with her the whole way, ordered her a Diet coke and some peanuts, and just acted like there was nothing weird. Think of the looks on the flight attendants' faces as they realized that they were dealing with a clearly mentally disturbed passenger, and that they better play along or I might freak out and do something scary on the plane. Hahaha...So they would come up and ask both of us if we needed anything, and I would use some weird ventriloquist voice to be "Her" voice and answer back that I wanted a headset for the movie, and maybe a little more respect from the crew. I'd have a blast with that one!
Now give me yours.

As soon as I say her, I knew her name was Tallulah. She will be a great model for your patterns in your booth and promises not to go off and get into trouble.
Pinky Tuscadero??? on spelling from Happy Days
Lady Lindal and you could call her Lindy for short. I think Lindy Tueller is really cute. I assume she's your adopted (created) daughter.
You could spell it four different ways. Lyndi, Lyndie, Lindie, or Lindy.
I think she looks like a Julia--
I want one.
I like Beatrice....
I like Petunia. Petunia Pink Tueller. How fun!
Kaleid O. Scope
HI Lila,
I think she should be called Santiana or Pink Pixie. She will gorgeous with clothes made from your new fabrics. They are so spring and fresh looking.
Hope all is well,
Regards,
Anna
Ruby. I would call her Ruby.
Petula Pedal Pink.
I have seven kids and came up with all their names, so I should be good at this....
Flo
She is really cute :)))
I would call her Lola like Franka Potente in "Run Lola Run". They even have similar hairstyle and color.
stitchsavesnine (at) yahoo (dot) com
I'd call her Angie, I think she has, aside from her hair, quite the resemblance to Angelina Jolie.
She looks like Violet to me!
Or how about Tansey?
libertythreads@charter.net
Peasant Girl
First name that came to me was "Tillie the Toiler" from the 1927 movie HERE: http://www.mariondaviesfanclub.org/tillie.htm
and HERE: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cluttershop/ **(paper doll version)....
So maybe you could call her Tillie the Tueller model !!.... HA! :)
I think she looks like a Stella. :) I can't wait to see what she wears!
I love her! How about Luna
Chelsea
Callie. I don't know why....
She's brilliant. I love her.
Lady Lillian Von Tueller, but Lily to her friends.
Punky Tueller - that hair is awesome!
How about Fuschia Farrah! She must have an exotic name...
Paddy? It's descriptive! Or maybe Vera. She's very cool! She will look great in your clothes!
Call her "Joy Delmar"..."joy" or "J.D." for short... after the place you stayed in Cabo (Casa Joya Delmar).....she has the pink hair that is the same color as the flowers there and when she gets her clothes on she'll have all of the colors of Cabo! An inspiration to go back after all of your hard work :-)
I say Rosie..... She looks like a Rosie to me..... Hey! Cover Jesus' eyes in the back.... That's a naked lady ;)
I just finished the CUTEST peasant out of your new stuff.... I'll send you a picture later.
Betsy, is a good name.
by the way, I have made 3 purses with your fabric and I love it.
How about Lucy or Raina...
Freda!
Name her girlfriend.
You could say, "you look really good in that blouse girlfriend".
I don't know what you should name her. I am the worst at naming. But I will tell you she is AMAZING!!!!! Great job Mom, What a work of art. I don't know if it was made clear that you made her from SCRATCH!!
You are incredible!
Hi Lila
Yeh cute ass!!
How about "Miss Mandy" or "Consuella" ( is that correct splling) I've always wanted a Consuealla to do my house work, the cooking, the cleaning you get it?
But looks like she'll just stand there and look umm, well, yeh... drifferent LOL.
Pina
She looks like "Foxy" to me.
How about the name of your first pet and the street you grew up on.......
We had (altho she's still around somewhere) nylon sock doll--life size name Claudia.
altho....I also thought of Lily.
Lila and Lily. Lily and Lila. yeah. Miss Lily T. Misslilytee. whatever.
Frenchy. Her pink hair reminds me of the Grease character by the same name!
Her hair color would be my inspiration, as well, with the name of Cerise. That is as far as I have gotten with the name. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
"Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl with yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there...at the Copa, Copacabana" How about that a name and song to boot! Have fun picking and Aloha from Hawaii, Stacy
I looked at the butt and thought "plain Jane", and no nonsense...then I looked at the hair and purple peril came to mind, but then Aged Barbee as in purple vs blue hair..
I keep thinking of the song "Purple people eater"
But she is a model after all......
so maybe "model Purple" or even just "my purple person"
At least you wouldn't get lonely on the plane . You would have
'Ariana" with you .
I like Lola-Pink, but I have to admit, naming her after me did come to mind as well...Lucy ;)
oh, and don't take her on the plane with you.... hahah
she's so great! You did an amazing job on her!
love ya!
How about Tilly Tueller. Or Ima Tueller (bad, I know).
My immediate thought was KiKi- I'm not sure it was her bondonka donk, that made me think of that name or what- but she is one good lookin' girl!
(ps. on your plane scenario...I say DO IT!)
bertieranger4@gmail.com
when in doubt I always use Roxanne!!
Have fun Lila..she's gorgeous!
I also like Lola, but I thought of the song by The Kinks as soon as I saw her photo. I don't know why - I doubt she's a man in drag! But, you never know!!!
Oh, I need to ask for some help! I'm sewing your Bohemian Bag pattern on my Bernina Virtuoso 160 and my needle keeps breaking. I've tried pressing the pedal as fast as it will go and moving the fabric very slow so I'm not moving it while the needle is in the fabric. I've also tried different needles: Universal, quilting, leather ... still snapping.
I should probably mention that I'm boxing the bottom, which means the fabric is super thick!
The first two names that popped in my head were Lilac and Fursia (because her hair looks like pink fur to me)
I like Francie for her name. She looks like a lot of fun. Wish I had one.
Lila, I think TroyAnn. I think she looks like she belongs in your family.
She looks fun and funky. How about Sybille... you'd have to check that spelling though. Sounds like Sih-beal. I used to work with a french lady, she was the art dept. whiz.
I think she is a 'Miss Frou Frou' - mostly because the song 'must be dreaming' was playing when I got to your blog - and with all that pink hair, she seems a bit frou, frou don't you think lol!
Ruby.
She's an absolute doll with her big beautiful eyes, pouty pink lips, and cute bootie. You did such a good job. I would name her DOLLY 'cause she's a doll.
Enjoying your creations - thank you! Linda
Ok, I've found myself thinking about names while doing every day things... she's taking over my brain!
Booty-Lu Pinkerton
Pinky-Jane
Hot-Pink Roxy
Betty Bootylicious
Stiff Stella...
I'm sure I'll be dreaming about them all night... thanks!
emmalei (say "emma" "lay") :)
oops...didn't finish
after the "lay," there's a quick long "e" sound at the end...
I think OLIVIA and you could call her Liv or Livvie, this is my daughters name and it is such a strong yet fun and femine name, good luck!! Opps, I also like Claire, simple yet unique and classy!
libbyforrest@cox.net
opps one more name - Vivian- so vibrant!!
libbyforrest@cox.net
Fun contest!! My picks are....
Phoebe
Tulip
Minnie
~Lori
lrporten@yahoo.com
Oh Gosh, Is it still worth trying?? Great ideas in the previous comments.....My suggestion is "Darlene Ma Dell" Always fun to get your brain working early in the morn :) Kathie k.bugbee@att.net
Fabulous Franchesca. You could call her Frannie or Fran.
Patton?
paige.schloss@avocent.com
Man was I clear enough on my sorta cleaver name on earlier comment Darlene Ma Dell.....(Darling Model) oh brother I guess I was. :) Kathie
I say she's a 'Matilda' Great job!
I think you should name her Mandy Rose, Mandy short for mannequin and Rose for her pink 'do!
Fancy Flamingo! You can call her Fancy for short.
She is just too cute! I just "discovered" your blog and I love it!
Thanks!
Let's see, I'm kinda feelin':
-Fancy Francie
-Maxine
-Tildie
-Violet
-Pinkety Fo Shizzle to the Wizzle =)
Bootemus Bette
You are amazing! What will you think of next? I still have my mouth open "ohhing and ahhing" over the boots!!
Nadine
I've always had a secret desire to name a girl Euphoria, but none of mine had pink hair! Just look up Euphoria in the dictionary ("a feeling of well-being or elation") and you'll see your mannequin's picture. ;-)
Love always, George
Although I think Lola as definitely a great suggestion, I like Genevieve or Camille.
Lola seems to be popular. It happens to be my nickname. Lolita is another nickname.
What about Rosita or Rosa for her hair? Last attempt, Camille or Cami?
I love your work!! Thank you for creating!! We need you!!
Dolores :)
doloresmccune@yahoo.com
Rosa Booty that says it ALL. wish my booty looked like hers!
Well, I have always liked my name very much so...What about Clarissa?
Something French and Funky.
Gia or Gigi ;)
your talent is truly amazing! I would never even attempt something like this even if I had a pattern! Just... WOW!!!
imlattelady@aol.com
I have posted on here before, but for some reason I can't log in. Anyone with any ideas on how to help me would be great. Thanks.
Carlotta...she looks like a carlotta, no reason, thats just what I saw. I love her hair.
Maya Cherise
An exotic, free spirited name for the wild pink haired lady.
Did you make her yourself? If so--you are amazing!
hmmm I think she looks like a Jayne
Well here's my suggestion, it's based on a bit of an anogram....
Made By Lila Tueller With Love = MBLTWL. From that I got Mabel Twilly. Sort of a cute old fashioned name and yeah, it's not really a true anogram but nobody said there were any rules for this :)
I think you should name her Lolita Teuller! or Margarita?!
I like Sadie. or Esme.
