My Grandbaby Halle Rose...again (!)

I just LOVE this little girl! I wish I could kiss her little soft cheeks right now, but she's in California, where I wish I was right now! Here she is, isn't she sweet?

Stripwork Onesie Dress

I made this little dress to send to my Granddaughter, and thought it would be an easy and fun tutorial for those of you who like to sew. It's a great way to use up scraps of fabric you have around, and it's a really easy project, even for beginners. Have fun with it, and send me a photo if you end up making one!

My Awesome Kids!

I hope it won't bug you that I'm putting pictures of my kids in here, but after all, they are a BIG part of my life, and who I am. In case I didn't ever mention this before, I am a mother of SEVEN wonderful children, some of whom are grown up now, like Brittney, 26 (who's new baby is shown in my blog a little further down) and Trent, who is 24 this year, and a returned missionary from Mongolia. Cade is 19 and leaving on a mission in May to London, England. Paige is 17 and blossoming into a true beauty, and then there's the younger ones like Natalie, 13, also blossoming, Abigail, age 9, And lastly, Troy who is turning 5 in April. Six are still living at home, so you can imagine what my life is like!

More Stuff

I decided to share some pictures of some of the ceramics I have painted...It's another of my favorite things to do. My husband and I own a Color Me Mine studio franchise, which is a paint-your-own ceramic studio. We have a lot of fun with it.
So these are some examples of some of the ones I've painted. The top picture shows how you can design a custom platter or whatever to match fabrics ( or rugs, or whatever) you have in the room. If you've never been to a Color Me Mine studio, you should try it! It's addicting.

My Stuff

My cute, talented and very helpful niece Chelsea has told me that I need to show pictures of some of the things I have done. So if this bores you, it's her fault!
I spent a lot of time, for a while, making purses. It was lots of fun, and I only took pictures of maybe a tenth of what I actually made. But here are some of them for you to check out. I really don't have time to sew them anymore, but once in a while I get a hankering to make a new one, and I whip one up. There is so much great fabric out there now, it's hard not to make a new purse for every one of them! (But I resist the temptation.)
