I am happy to report that I will, indeed, be creating a pattern for this bag design, (see below) which will be available sometime this fall. I will post about it as soon as it is ready.

I like that this bag can stand up on its own. I like that it's big and roomy, colorful, and young. I like that it has a firm, not saggy bottom. (Unlike mine!) It hearkens back to the 70's when I was growing up as a bit of a hippie. It boasts lots of inside pockets, large 8" diam. bamboo handles, grommets, leather tie-ons and hand painted wooden beads.

This bag will be known as the Retro "Groovy" Bag , and will be for sale in time for fall market in October, if all goes well!
