Stripwork Onesie Dress

I made this little dress to send to my Granddaughter, and thought it would be an easy and fun tutorial for those of you who like to sew. It's a great way to use up scraps of fabric you have around, and it's a really easy project, even for beginners. Have fun with it, and send me a photo if you end up making one!

My heart is seriously pumping I am so excited to make a dress for my little chubber Bridgy. She will look adorable. I can't wait. I will have to read and re read your instructions a million times over before the final finished product but that's what they are there for right? If there are other "easy" projects you think I can do with my flimsy fingers than post on so I can be inspired again and again by you. PS I think I may have to hire you to paint something in my house. the tree is amazing in Halle's room and Britt said you were doing projects left and right. Let's get my mom to get with it. What do you say?

PS I was over at my moms the other day and Bridget pulled off her bowl you made her and it shattered. My mom kept "reminding" me that it was her favorite bowl, a one of a kind, that you made her. I feel really bad. I am going to have to pay for another to be made or something b/c she's pretty bummed. You are so super dee duper (hate it when Barney sneaks into my everyday life) talented it's just amazing. Love you.

Thanks for the tutorial. I actually made one of these a few months ago for my babe and didn't realize I would need to make the waist stretchable. I tried to stick it over her little head and couldn't. It's super cute just hanging in her closet though!
